About This Guide
Last updated: 2026-09-22 · 5 min read
This is an independent, unofficial companion for SILENT HILL: Townfall. It exists for one reason: at launch, the difference between finishing the game once and finishing it properly comes down to knowing a handful of rules before you start rather than after you finish.
What This Site Is
A six-part walkthrough, a collectibles index, an endings guide and a platinum roadmap for Screen Burn's first-person descent into St. Amelia. Every page is written to be used while playing: the route order matches the order you actually move through the town, the puzzle solutions sit next to the clue that reveals them, and the missable windows are flagged where they close rather than in a list at the end.
There is no advertising on this site, no tracking beyond a privacy-friendly page counter, and no account to create. It is a set of pages, written to be read.
How We Verify
The game's structure is unforgiving to guess at. There is no chapter select and no free roam, so a wrong location or a transposed code costs a player a real save file. That is why nothing on this site is written from memory:
- Structural facts — parts, chapters, endings, collectible counts, trophy lists — are checked against the live build and at least one independent post-launch source.
- Steps, codes and item locations are confirmed against what the game actually accepts, not against pre-release speculation.
- Where two sources disagree, the page says so instead of picking the tidier answer.
- Every page carries a last-verified date. If a patch changes something, that date moves.
Where Facts Come From
Official material comes first: KONAMI's release announcements, the official game site, the PlayStation Blog and store pages, and the Steam store page and app metadata. Post-launch structure, collectible counts and trophy conditions are cross-checked against live guide data. Community discussion is used to find player questions, never to establish a fact.
Screenshots on this site are official store assets from the game's Steam page. All game names, artwork and assets belong to their respective owners.
What We Won't Guess At
A few things about Townfall are genuinely not pinned down by official sources or by consistent in-game behaviour. Where that is the case, the page marks the value as unconfirmed and explains what is known. The clearest example is the exact numeric threshold that separates the Forever ending from Justice: the game compares your kills against your Discoveries, but the published boundary is approximate. We tell you the safe method rather than inventing a precise number.
Corrections
If a step does not work, a location is wrong, or a code has changed after a patch, that is worth knowing about and we would rather hear it than not. Corrections are welcome at support@townfallguide.com — include the page and, if you can, what the game did instead. Verified corrections go into the changelog.
