Silent Hill: Townfall is the first full-length first-person entry in the series: a self-contained psychological horror story set in 1996 in St. Amelia, a fictional island town off Scotland. You play Simon Ordell, called back to a place he does not recognise to "put things right", carrying a pocket CRT television that detects what is hunting you and picks up the broadcasts that drive the story forward.
The game is structured as six parts across seventeen chapters, with five endings — three available on a first playthrough and two reserved for New Game Plus — and 138 main collectibles spread across Clues and Documents, phone numbers, Strange Postcards, CRTV signals and resource containers. There is no chapter select and no free roam, so anything you walk past stays missed until you reload a save or start again. That combination is why this guide orders every page by the route rather than by category: the fastest way through St. Amelia is also the way that does not cost you a second run.
If you only need one thing first, read the endings rules before you play. Your first ending is decided by how many enemies you kill against how many Clues and Documents you pick up, and knowing that in advance is the difference between one clean run and three.
The standard edition unlocks on September 24, 2026 on PS5, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Steam displays September 23 for some regions, and Deluxe Edition owners get 48 hours of early access — which is why guide data for this game already exists. Everything on this site is cross-checked against that live build, not against pre-release speculation.
